Who are we?
The fair is run by Ajax Sea Scouts in collaboration with our partners. We aim to provide Esher with a brilliant day of fun, laughter and enjoyment. Our goal is to bring the best of Esher together in one place for everyone in the community to enjoy.

History
The Esher May Fair is an annual community fundraising event held on Esher Green. Established in 1955 it has continued to be a major annual event and fundraiser for local charities.
Esher is famous for it’s local residents from Errol Brown of Hot Chocolate to Maurice Gibb of Bee Gees fame and his wife Lulu. We cannot prove that Esher’s most storied resident, George Harrison visited the fair but we like to think he and the other Beatles would have appreciated its continuing spirit of fun and community.

A highlight of the event is always the wide selection of stalls run by local charities and businesses. These feature a wide range of arts and crafts, garden plants, bric-a-brac and much more besides!
